YANASISTERS

Who We Are

YANASISTERS is more than a community— it is a sacred space for women to connect, heal, and grow. Since our first retreat in 2013, we’ve grown into a thriving sisterhood, helping thousands of women find belonging, encouragement, and purpose. Here, every woman’s story matters, and together, we step into our most authentic selves.

Our Mission

For women to experience the power of connection to God, themselves, and others – you are not alone.

The YANA Story

2008

In the Beginning
There Was A Book

When Imani published You Are Not Alone, she had no idea it would spark a movement. In its pages, she shared her journey of love, purpose, and loss— including losing her husband to schizophrenia and both parents to illness. What began as personal reflections became the foundation for this beautiful sisterhood.

2013

Our First Retreat in North Georgia

YANASISTERS launches with a retreat in North Georgia, welcoming 16 women on a journey of self-discovery.

2014

Expanding Locally With Meetup

More retreats and the first Atlanta-based Meetup group bring new opportunities for connection.

2024

A Milestone Year

2025

What’s Next?

We continue releasing CONNECT magazine, expand live and virtual gatherings, formalize our mentoring and philanthropic efforts, and launch the Inner Circle for sisters seeking deeper connection.
